WCW Mayhem is wrestling out of hand and out of the ring.
Based on the world of World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and its line of high-profile wrestlerΓÇÖs, WCW Mayhem will provide an immersive wrestling experience. Players will enjoy an interactive wrestling experience that mirrors the high energy, adrenaline pumping action of WCW events by recreating an environment that relies heavily on cutting edge graphics, sound, presentation and special effects.
Over 60 WCW wrestlers will be featured in the game including such stars as Hollywood Hogan, Goldberg, Kevin Nash, Bam Bam Bigelow, Diamond Dallas Page and Sting. Players will be able to break through a secret ringside entrance leading into a dressing room to continue the match. Wrestlers would also have access to items in the room (such as chairs) to fight with. The action will seen through the security camera in the room.
WCW Mayhem will also feature play-by-play and color commentary by such WCW broadcasters as Tony Schiavone, Mike Tennay, Bobby Henan and Mean Gene Okurlund will create one of he most life-like sounding interactive wrestling game.
Players will also be able to create their own wrestlers to take into the ring, determining all of the wrestlerΓÇÖs characteristics, including his name, which will even be announced by the play-by-play team when he enters the ring.
WCW Mayhem will also offer a party mode that will allow up to 16 players to participate in a ΓÇÿking of the hillΓÇÖ style royal rumble match. As a player is eliminated from the match, another comes into the ring to take his place. Last man standing is the victor!
